First company in the new house and you can see how played out Julia was! Day one they showed up just a few hours earlier than we were expecting, so little munchkin didn't get her nap. She was relatively good despite that, just the temptation to get in the water at the beach proved to be a tough one for her. So she ended up with a wet skirt. LOL. No big deal, it is the beach after all. By the way, this is the beach that is closest to us. Finally we made it across the bridge to check it out. Unfortunately we only had a short time there as we were all getting hungry, our friends were tired from traveling and we just wanted to be able to show them that next time they didn't have to go quite so far down into FL to find some fantastic beaches! ;) I can easily see Julia and I spending lots of time down there once we are more settled in. We are having quite a few jelly fish in the water just now so it may be best that we are busy. The good thing is the water is so clear that you can pretty much see them. And talk about warm. Our friends had just been spending time on the Atlantic side last week and could not believe how much warmer the Gulf waters were. :)
We had a short but great visit and Julia had a blast playing with the older girls. You can see though that basically any time she sat still long enough her body would tell her, whether she liked it or not, that it was nap time. Poor Daddy had to eat dinner with one hand the other night. Yesterday it started out raining, much like today, so we hung out here at the house ordered pizza and just visited before our friends had to pack it back up and continue on their journey home. I think we have them 1/2 convinced they should move here. We'll keep working on them. ;)
Anyone else ready to visit?? I'll post some more beach pictures on dropshots just to tempt you.
